Chick 2 says:
Starring Diane Keaton, Queen Latifah, and Katie Holmes, Mad Money is a remake of a tale about three average housewives going through some difficult financial times and so decide to slowly filter money out of the federal reserve bank in which they all have jobs. These three actors are always likeable and fun to watch, especially Holmes who is particularly ditzy and quirky in this, however, Mad Money lacks depth. The scenarios are predictable and yet long to set up, and it seems as though there is unnecessary filler, perhaps meant to give the movie character. Many years ago I saw a movie starring Jane Curtain most likely based on the same true story that had much more character and personality. In this updated version, Mad Money is a few bucks short of a deposit.
