It might be one of the most of the most visited stores on the high street, but Topshop is
failing to live up to the standards expected by its clientele.

In a new survey by consumer champions Which?, the fashion retailer came 98th in a list of 100 UK high street
stores followed by WHSmith at 99 and mobile phone
retailer EE at the bottom of the pile.

Based on responses from 9,500 shoppers, shops were rated on prices, environment,
customer service and, the range and quality of products.

BHS ranked bottom of all the UK department stores
with customers describing its stock as ‘outdated’, while another
added that it ‘does not give the impression of being a good-quality store’.

Performing equally poorly was H&M which also found itself languishing
in the bottom five, alongside competitor
    Topshop.

EE was named the worst shop as customers commented on long waiting times, busy stores and sometimes unhelpful staff

At the other end of the table, department store John Lewis narrowly missed out on the top spot for the second year running, with Lush Cosmetics claiming
    first place.

Lush scored highest for product range and quality, customer
service and store environment, with staff described as ‘helpful’ and ‘friendly’,
    and the products as ‘excellent’.

In the list of 100 stores BHS came 96th with customers describing it as outdated

However, it wasn’t all good news for the cosmetics retailer which got a lower score on pricing, with one shopper saying it is ‘ideal for
    gifts, but high prices.’

John Lewis also lost marks for its high prices with customers noting that
although products are ‘great quality’, they ‘can be expensive’.

In an editorial to accompany the new research, Which?

said that although tidiness and short queues boosted the shopping experience, they were
    also regarded as relatively unimportant.

‘Although tidy stores with short queues make for a pleasant shopping
experience, our analysis found that these factors are generally the least
important in creating a positive impression on shoppers – and have the least impact on the
    overall customer score.’

Price is the most important factor when deciding where to shop with four in 10 (40 per cent) saying this was their top consideration.

Which? Editor Richard Headland added: ‘Consumers look for quality in both products
and service. If retailers can get their products right,
along with excellent customer service and a great shopping environment, customers will
keep coming back through their doors.’

Lush cosmetics took the top spot for the second year running thanks
    to its friendly service

John Lewis came in second missing out on the top spot because of
    its higher prices

The big kick off: Phil Vickery’s guide to the Heineken Cup
By PHIL VICKERY Updated: 22:32 GMT, 10 November 2011

    3

    View
    comments

The Heineken Cup is without doubt the  premier competition in the club game.
What makes it so special as a player is that the
experience on matchday is totally unique -different environments,
different opponents, a different level of hostility.

Whether it’s a trip down to France, or over in Wales, it feels special.

Glory boys: Leinster celebrate winning the Heineken Cup last season

I remember that when the Heineken Cup arrives sometimes it is actually a big relief to get away
from the league. It’s just nice to get away from the
familiarity and daily grind of facing your Premiership opponents.
It’s a different challenge, both mentally and
    physically.

    RED-HOT RETURN FOR SAM

Sam Warburton will run the gauntlet in Paris when he plays his
first game since his World Cup red card against France.

The Wales captain makes his first
appearance since he was sent off in the semi-final in Auckland last
    month. And his comeback for
Cardiff Blues in the opening round
of the Heineken Cup comes against
Racing Metro in the French capital.

The 23-year-old is braced for a hot
reception but wants to be remembered for more than being sent
    off at a World Cup.

Warburton said: ‘I’m really looking forward to getting
back to playing after the ban and proving a
point on the pitch. It was a massive event but that is sport, these things happen.
It’s up to me to start creating some better memories.’

    Cardiff, semi-finalists in 2009, also
    include Jamie Roberts, Gethin
    Jenkins and Scotland’s Dan Parks.

You raise your game for the Heineken Cup. It is the step between international Test rugby and the domestic game.

Teams need to use that in a positive way, use it as fuel, as a
great opportunity to test yourself and get the season on a roll.

This opening weekend is crucial. You have to get off
to a good start because you cannot start playing catch-up. It’s all
about momentum. Once you’re off with a good win, you’re
away and suddenly confidence is building.

Biarritz begin with a trip to the Ospreys – that result will probably define how the competition unravels for both those teams.
To be successful you need to find a way to pick up points from every
game. It’s seriously high pressure, there’s more at
stake, for the fans and financially for the club.

It’s different referees as well, which is another big
challenge for the players. In the Aviva Premiership you have the same set of referees so you are
used to their styles. French referees are different so you have to think a
lot more. Sometimes that can be a good thing, but whatever the
referee is like, you have to adapt as a player.

    QUINS WITHOUT A CARE

England scrum-half Danny Care is again a substitute as unbeaten
Harlequins begin the English challenge in the Heineken Cup at home to debutants Connacht.

Quins’ director of rugby Conor O’Shea is happy to keep him
on the bench behind the in-form Karl Dickson. Quins aim to maintain an unbeaten start to the season which has brought 10 wins in all games and sees them top of the Aviva
Premiership. The only change to the team who beat Bath last Saturday is at hooker where Chris Brooker takes over from Joe Gray.

England’s No 8 Nick Easter, who plays his third game since New Zealand, said:
‘The Heineken Cup will be the acid test of how far we have come in the last season or so.’

With all due respect, in the Amlin Challenge
Cup – the second-tier competition – you can play a second-string side against
a host of opponents and get away with it. It’s not the same in the Heineken, there is nowhere to hide.
Big games come thick and fast and if you start losing the season can get away from you
    very quickly.

A European campaign evolves as you go along.
Ultimately this is what you aspire to be in as a club
player. Winning the Cup with Wasps in 2007 was one of the
highlights of my rugby career after I’d had so many disappointments in the competition with Gloucester.

Without meaning to sound negative, the secret
to success in this tournament is about winning when you’re not playing well
    - grinding out victories. Then suddenly the knockout stages
arrive and you need your big-game players to step up.

The defining characteristic of this tournament is its colour.
It’s about all the different supporters and all the nationalities coming together to celebrate rugby.

    POOL ONE

    Castres Olympique (France)
    Cup record: P46 W19 D1 L26 Win rate: 41% Best finish: Pools

    Munster (Ireland)
    Record: P115 W80 D1 L34 WR: 70% Best: Winners (2006, 2008)

    Northampton (England)
    Record: P65 W41 D0 L24 WR: 63% Best: Winners (2000)

    Scarlets (Wales)
    Record: P99 W53 D1 L45 WR: 54% Best: Semi-finals (2007)

VICKERY’S VERDICT: Munster are in many ways the premier European team.
It’s what their fans live for. You always want to start at home so it’s a big ask for Northampton tomorrow
    - it will tell us a lot about this team. You never quite know with Northampton.
They were unbeaten until the final last season,
but they’ve had a disastrous start in the Premiership without their England players.
Those England boys are the heart and soul of the team. Scarlets are building a bit of momentum and Welsh rugby
is on such a high after the World Cup. Castres are
flying in France but they don’t have enough ammunition.

TIP FOR THE TOP: Northampton – I can see cracks in this newlook Munster team.

TOUGHEST TRIP: Munster. No question. They’ve built it into a fortress.
It’s like they know every gust of wind.

POOL STAR: Rhys Priestland. Out of all the Welsh guys, the Scarlets flyhalf
impressed me most in New Zealand. He wasn’t bothered by pressure
    on or off the field

    POOL TWO

    Cardiff Blues (Wales)
    Cup record: P95 W48 D4 L43 WR: 51% Best: R/up (1996)

    Edinburgh (Scotland)
    Record: P83 W28 D3 L52 WR: 34% Best finish: Qtr-finals (2004)

    London Irish (England)
    Record: P32 W15 D1 L16 WR: 47% Best finish: Semi-finals (2008)

    Racing Metro 92 (France)
    Record: P6 W2 D0 L4 WR: 33% Best finish: Pools

VICKERY’S VERDICT: Cardiff missed out on the 2009 final in that amazing drop-goal shootout, but they
have failed to hit the heights since. Edinburgh have lost some direction since Andy Robinson’s departure and I can’t
see them being able to compete. Irish are without Delon Armitage (pictured above) – who can’t
keep out of the dock – but in Tom Homer they have a great young kicker performing
well. Racing have the players but their performances fluctuate home and away.

TIP FOR THE TOP: London Irish, on current form, are looking good and
the fixtures are kind to them

TOUGHEST TRIP: Travelling to Cardiff is always daunting for a non-Welsh team.

POOL STAR: Jamie Roberts is back to his best and Sam Warburton will be on a
mission to put that red card behind him. They could take Cardiff all the way.

    POOL THREE

    Bath (England)
    Cup record: P66 W41 D1 L24 WR: 62% Best: Winners (1998)

    Glasgow (Scotland)
    Record: P73 W23 D1 L49 WR: 32% Best: Pools

    Leinster (Ireland)
    Record: P115 W69 D2 L35 WR: 60% Best: Winners (2009, 2011)

    Montpellier (France)
    Competition debut

VICKERY’S VERDICT: Bath are very excited about welcoming World
Cup winning fly-half Stephen Donald but I want to see him
prove himself first. They’re a temperamental side and it hasn’t really worked out
as well as I thought it might after Bruce Craig bought the
club. Montpellier are down in 12th in the Top 14 and their priority will be
avoiding relegation. Leinster have been the European team of
the last few seasons and they won’t fear an opening trip to France, even without Brian O’Driscoll.
Glasgow can push teams close at home but I can’t see them doing enough damage on the road.

TIP FOR THE TOP: Leinster. The champions’ Eoin Reddan and Jonny
Sexton are fantastic engines at nine and 10.

TOUGHEST TRIP: Dublin is the trip the three others will have
gulped at when the fixtures came out.

POOL STAR: Cian Healy. The Leinsterman is only 24 and can be a superstar prop.

    POOL FOUR

    Aironi (Italy)
    Record: P6 W1 D0 L5 WR: 17% Best: Pools

    Clermont (France)
    Record: P51 W26 D1 L24 WR: 51% Best: Pools

    Leicester (England)
    Record: P104 W69 D4 L31 WR: 66% Best: Winners (2001, 2002)

    Ulster (Ireland)
    Record: P94 W41 D3 L50 WR: 44% Best: Winners (1999)

VICKERY’S VERDICT: With all due respect to Aironi, this
is a three-horse race, and those other three teams
will need to make sure they rack up the bonus points against the Italians.
The other matches are going to be dogfights, real scraps. Leicester have been dreadful this season but you write them off at your peril.
Clermont are only one point behind Toulouse at the top of the French league.
They can turn over anyone at home.

TIP FOR THE TOP: Leicester or Clermont – too close to
    call.

TOUGHEST TRIP: Leicester. Their home form has been abysmal so far but a packed
Welford Road is one of the most intimidating venues in the
    game.

POOL STAR: Ben Youngs (above). He didn’t have the best World Cup but if gets himself fit he can be so sparky.
The Tigers need him ball in-hand causing havoc.

    POOL FIVE

    Treviso (Italy) Record: P78 W16 D0 L62 WR: 21% Best:
    Pools

    Biarritz (France) Record: P80 W52 D1 L27 WR: 65% Best: Runners-up (2006)

    Ospreys (Wales) Record: P51 W26 D2 L23 WR: 51% Best: Quarter-finals (2010)

    Saracen s (England) Record: P32 W18 D0 L14 WR: 56% Best: Semis (2008)

VICKERY’S VERDICT: Treviso don’t have the power to deal with their rivals.
Sarries have conquered on the domestic front and they are
so hungry for a European crown. They are a team packed with international class thanks
to an amazing recruitment drive. Ospreys have lost a
few players – kicked out the fake-tan brigade – and it
seems to be working for them. Biarritz play ugly rugby but they
win games. Dimitri Yachvili at nine, orchestrates play.

TIP FOR THE TOP: Such a difficult group to call but it is time for Saracens
to make their mark in Europe.

TOUGHEST TRIP: Biarritz. I remember coming off the pitch at Biarritz
feeling like I’d been put through a cement mixer, having not seen a rugby ball and found myself 40 points down. It’s a
    mean place to go.

POOL STAR: Owen Farrell. The sooner they get this kid in an England shirt the better.

    POOL SIX

    Connacht (Ireland) Competition debut

    Gloucester (England)
    Record: P42 W31 D1 L10 WR: 74% Best: Semi-finals (2000)

    Harlequins (England)
    Record: P49 W15 D3 L31 WR: 31% Best: Quarter-finals (2009)

    Toulouse (France)
    Record: P118 W84 D4 L30 WR: 74% Best: Winners (1996,
    2003, 05, 10)

VICKERY’S VERDICT: Connacht will be up for it at home but this
pool is down to the other three. Ten wins
from 10 so far this season makes Quins the side to beat.
They’ll be confident about winning away.
As promising as this Gloucester squad is, I fear they lack the experience to prove themselves
in Europe just yet. Toulouse are seasoned veterans in this
competition and, led by Thierry Dusautoir, they take some
    stopping.

TIP FOR THE TOP: It’s between Quins and Toulouse. Toulouse are four-time winners and Quins have never
got beyond the quarter-finals so you have to back Toulouse.
    Just.

TOUGHEST TRIP: Toulouse. Even though the Shed at Gloucester is not the friendliest of places
    - trust me! – but when all the fans start singing and dancing at Toulouse
it is a formidable place to go.

POOL STAR: Nick Evans. He deserves to play on the Heineken platform.
He is consistently outstanding. The team has improved around him and he’s
raised his game to another level.

There are no diameters for squares; let us just make that clear.
Diameter only applies for circles (Line that goes through
centre of circle and touches edges). However, diameters in squares would be simply length(but went through centre).
Therefore it could be anywhere between 15-~21.2132.

(Straight length/width or diagonal or anywhere else.)

    Hope this helps :D

Jon Jones has blasted those doubting his victory over Dominick
Reyes stating that his opponent and fanbase should be ‘mad
    at Dom’s conditioning guy’.

Jones successfully defended his UFC light-heavyweight title
on Saturday in a contentious bout against his fellow American at UFC 247 in Houston.

Jones controversially came out on top after a five-round epic in Houston, holding onto his light-heavyweight
    belt via a unanimous decision of 48-47, 48-47, 49-46.

Jon Jones has taken to Twitter to hit out at those doubting his victory over Dominick Reyes

The 32-year-old’s win at the Toyota Center was met with scattered applause and loud boos from the crowd with fans
on social media branding the decision as a ‘robbery’.

Tired of hearing his sceptics, Jones took to
Twitter on Wednesday night to air his views.

‘I love how whenever I have a competitive fight everyone claims the other guy won. Guess it just comes with the territory,
    ‘ he tweeted.

‘Dominic out struck me by literally 12 shots.
I scored the take downs, was the aggressor, control the octagon every round,
had more significant strikes landed. Dom completely stopped fighting in the
championship rounds and has the audacity to be mad at the
    judges.

‘Don’t be mad at the judges, be mad at Dom’s conditioning guy.
Man started to give up when the water got deep and is
now going around doing interviews talking about being robbed.
When will these young boys start taking responsibility that’s
what’s wrong with boys these days.

Jones took to Twitter on Wednesday hitting back
at those who thought his win was a ‘robbery’

‘At the end of the day, I got to be a part of another classic.
I’m over here in ABQ smiling from ear to ear. Having fights like that tickles my pickle, it
makes me feel so alive. Makes me feel like a man. Especially when you display
having balls the way I did, nothing but a win.

‘And I know my haters are p****d, which also makes
    me really happy lol.

‘Fights like those are the ones fans never forget.
What a way to make history.

‘This will probably be one of the only times I defend myself about the fight.
just glad it has everyone talking.

‘I don’t think people realise how many ways this has
been a blessing for me. Humbling, record-breaking, financially,
a new rival, got to bring out the dog. #UFC247
    is what it’s all about.’

    Jones (26-1-1) handed the fourth-ranked Reyes (12-1)
his first loss, improving to 15-0 in title fights – meaning
he now holds the record for most championship wins in UFC.

And when a fan asked him to setup a rematch with Reyes, something the beaten fighter wishes, Jones appeared to be receptive to the idea.

‘Someone tell uncle Dana [White] to give me a call,’ he quote-tweeted.

Jones is open to a rematch with Reyes – judging by this response to a fan on social media
